Our Next Three Years
In reflecting on Jasper Power Company’s vision for the next 3 years, it is important to understand the community we are here to serve by understanding the socio-economic profile of the beneficiaries of the project who are within a 50km radius of the project site, namely Postmasburg, Daniëlskuil, Groenwater and Jenn Haven and, most importantly, what their core needs are and what the challenges have been for Jasper.
Examining the company’s overall Vision, Mission, and Project focus areas, our strategy aligns with the United Nations Sustainability Goals.
VISION
The overall vision of the Jasper Power Company’s Enterprise and Socio-Economic Development has and continues to be about contributing towards sustainable growth and development in the Northern Cape through Renewable Energy income streams.
MISSION
OUR FOCUS
The main objectives of the Jasper Power Company are to have executional strategies and a clear list of initiatives that comply with the Implementation Agreement signed between the Department of Energy and the Jasper Power

Our ED Plan identifies the Enterprise and Socio-Economic Development focus areas to prioritise during the Operations and Maintenance phase of the Project, typically for the remaining life of the PPA.
